Brian Jackson is a Director of Photography based in New York. In the commercial world, he has had the opportunity to hone his skills under such talented cinematographers as Fred Elmes, Rodrigo Prieto, Chris Doyle and Edward Lachman. His work with Psyop has explored the VFX world for clients such as Mio and Nestea, while his documentary background has led him to insightful branding for General Electric and Rolls Royce. His work in the documentary realm is his true passion and has taken him to many parts of the world: from war-torn Africa to remote villages in Peru. Brian’s documentary “Windfall” premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and won numerous awards including best film at the prestigious New York Doc Festival. Recently Brian completed work on the documentary “Burt’s Buzz” which explores the life and times of iconic Burt Shavitz, the founder and face of the natural care company Burt’s Bees. Most recently Brian has worked on the Universal television show “Mr. Robot”. When he’s not shooting he can be found rock climbing in Southern California or camping with his daughter in the mountains of upstate New York.
